When ea made need for speed a cash cow and ruined the game that's when I no longer enjoyed it Shift actually came out after pro street and it handles Last year's Need for Speed Most Wanted, which featured hilariously over-the-top live-action cutscenes and seriously tense police pursuits, proved to be a high watermark for the franchise About the handling and speed, you can tweak it on each car but even with that, it does stay behind Burnout 3 but it's understandable since NFSU2 wasn't intended as a full arcade racing game.
