🪅 1.9 Tdi Vs 2.0 Tdi Reliability
Thisis a redesigned 1.9-liter TDI engine. The 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine was the first Volkswagen diesel engine having four valves per cylinder, and it was used in the 2004 Golf, Passat, and other vehicles. Gray cast iron is used to make the cylinder block. The engine’s displacement was boosted by expanding the bore to 81.0 mm.
Thatcovers two model generations, MkIV (2000-2006 Golf, and 2000-2005 Jetta) and MkV (2005.5-2010 Jetta and 2007-2009 Rabbit). According to consumer reports data, the TDI is definitely the most reliable powertrain in the MkIV, being rated above average while other models were well below average.
Hellochaps, I have an octavia 1.9 tdi AHF tdi SLX and looking to get newer octavia 1.9 tdi ASV Elegance? I went to see one today, but it appears that this ASV engine in lot more noiseir than mine AHF, also its lot more noiser inside? Is this normal?? By the way, it appears that road tax for ASV
Aturbocharged 197bhp version of the 2.0-litre engine was added shortly thereafter to reprise the seminal GTi badge. Diesels included the rather agricultural 2.0-litre SDI, as well as a 103bhp 1.9 TDI and the far more sophisticated 138bhp 2.0-litre TDI unit.
19 TDI (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat) Probably the biggest classic when it comes to diesel engines – Volkswagen’s 1.9 TDI. There is no doubt that throughout Europe, the 1.9 TDI diesel is synonymous with durability, doing a mileage of km without any problems. In addition, in stronger varieties, it provided at least good
TheTDI is very reliable, has good towing capability and gets really good fuel economy The TSI will gap a Lamborghini Yes they are, but i think it is not enough for Superb. 2.0 CR 140hp is best choice i think, the most reliable, superior fuel consumption, snd it is enough for daily driving, but still feel little underpowered for me.
AudiA4 B7 - audi 1.9 TDI or 2.0 TDI. Hi, I'm looking to buy a AUDI A4 S-line a B7 one, problem is is it best to go for the 1.9 TDI or the 2.0 TDI, I've noticed you can get both engines on the B7. I've read comments on problems with the 2.0 TDI, but not much feedback on the 1.9 TDI, is there a certain era of A4 B7's best to buy, certain milleage
Points 63. Location. Suffolk. Oct 1, 2009. #1. Hi All, I've just done a search to get some comparisons on a 1.9 TDi Vs 2.0TDi. Most results were based around the 8P
. #2. Neither engine will outlast the other. Reliability and maintenance are two separate things. Maintenance costs will be greater with the tdi because of fuel filter interval. Otherwise both require service every 10k, dsg at 40k. Mk7 has no timing belt interval (we'll see how that goes).
Volkswagen- VAG 2.0 PD TDI engines - are they trouble?. The saga with the in-laws car choice continues - they've cooled off on the Volvo V50 for a while, and having rejigged some finances, are now considering a new mkV Golf 2.0TDI estate. I have been rather alarmed by some of the admittedly anecdotal evidence that I've been privy to
Fri31 Aug 2007 14:16. SDi vs TDi - Dr Rubber. TDI is a VAG trademark IIRC, and is used on direct injection (PD or non PD) turbocharged diesels. SDI on VAG cars, as other posters have said, is used on direct injection (PD or non PD) normally aspirated diesels. The 1.9 unit is non PD, and the new 2.0 in the Golf V is PD.
Thisdepends on the engine generation. If you buy a car with a 1.9 TDI engine, it is best to replace the timing belt immediately when the last change is uncertain.
