N53 330i. That Bad? Hello, Was looking to get a touring & my process generally starts at 335i and goes through every model to the D3 listing pro's & cons. Anyway as I do 8k per year with a reasonable amount of town driving I thought I would go for petrol. 330i. Then I saw that the emmisions & economy inproved in 2008 & thought thats the one for me.

I checked BMW for recalls on my VIN and they had none, so I replaced the seat sensor with a new one from BMW. The symptoms seemed to go away for about a week then they came back. When we look, the scanner shows the same code and if we look at the live readings, it shows the seat occupancy sensor as being "not initialized".

Check the motor first though cause if the motor shaft is not spinning with torque then it will not move the cog when installed.

A clogged, or restricted fuel filter usually causes engine performance problems, but it can also contribute to no/hard start. Fuel pressure regulator On the 325i/330i this is part of the fuel filter, so by replacing the filter, the FPR will also be renewed. On the 323i/328i it's separate from the filter.
2006 BMW 330i 45,000 mi, Visitor. Oil smell inside car, was result of oil gasket leak due to two broken bolts. Mechanic indicated that this is a common problem and there is a service bulletin that adjusts the torque specs when installing new bolts. Cost was $800.
Leaking oil filter housing gaskets are the most common issue with all E90 engines, and you will hardly find an engine that hasn’t had this problem at some time. There are two gaskets — one between the oil filter housing and engine block, and the other between the housing and oil cooler.

Hi i have a problem with my e90 330i n52b30 2005 occasionally i have a misfire on idle every 5-8 seconds it shakes the engine no check engine light on, no fault code at all i have changed all coils as well all spark plugs swapped the injectors and put brand new camshaft sensors plus i checked the compression on each cylinder and i hav 9-10-9-10
